| Boats facts | The U-Boat U 575 was one of the famous Atlantic-boats type VII C. If we speak from the U-boats, we mean this type and we see this silhouette in our mind. The commission was at Juni 1941 and it sunk in March 1944 in its 10th operation. It wasn´t one of the famous U-Boats, it was one of the many workhorses of the U-Boat forces, without these workhorses these results not possible. To belong to the famous boats, it was to late. From the beginning it sailed expecting heavy seas ahead and bloody fights. | ||
